Tile, sanitaryware and technical ceramic — shaped openings, complex profiles and a clean edge, cut with a cold abrasive jet.
Ceramic is brittle and thin-sectioned; support and edge quality decide the result. The material cannot absorb a point load or a local heat source without chipping, so the piece has to be supported through the whole cut and the energy has to stay at the kerf. Abrasive waterjet cuts cold with a narrow kerf, which keeps the load on the material low and lets shaped openings and profiles be cut after the tile or the part is positioned on the table.
Ceramic, porcelain and technical ceramic are cut at an indicative maximum of up to 30 mm on Yuanli 5-axis platforms. Thin sections reach the table with a lighter support requirement; tell us the body, the thickness and the shape you need and we will confirm the configuration.
Straight shapes, repeated parts and tile work where the cut stays vertical.
Bevels, angles and complex contours for shaped components and edge details in one setup.
Vision-assisted alignment for patterned tile and slab, and for parts that are not symmetrical.
Patterned tile and porcelain slab are cut against the material's own layout, not against a blank rectangle. Intelligent Vision captures the pattern on the surface and establishes the coordinate relationship between the material and the machine, so the cut follows the pattern that is actually on the slab.
That matters where a vein, a marble-effect print or a repeating graphic has to run continuously across several cut pieces. Aligning the cut to the pattern on the material means the layout is decided on the real slab rather than on the nominal one, and the pieces that come off the table line up when they are installed.
Tell us the body, the thickness and the openings you need. We can cut a sample so you can check the edge before the order.
